The most compact and responsive autopilot system ever, ideal for small and medium-sized boats (1), reducing deviation and course errors, rudder movement and lowering power consumption. Easy to install and very simple to calibrate. It integrates perfectly with the Garmin Marine system, also implementing the useful Auto Guidance 3.0 function (2) for automatic route calculation (requires BlueChart® g3 Vision® HD cartography). Solid-state 9-axis AHRS technology The advanced solid-state 9-axis AHRS technology makes the system easy to install and very simple to calibrate, thus minimizing direction errors, course deviations, rudder movements and power consumption, allowing those on board to navigate more comfortably. Control the autopilot directly from the chartplotter: Fully interfaceable via NMEA 2000 network, the new Reactor 40 autopilot can be controlled from the display of compatible Garmin Marine chartplotters. You can thus enjoy advanced features such as, for example, the new Auto Guidance 3.0(2 for automatic calculation of the best route and fast, simple and reliable navigation.Garmin Shadow Drive™ Using the exclusive Garmin Shadow Drive function, it is possible to temporarily disengage the autopilot when you intervene on the helm, thus leaving the user free to maintain control of the boat in case the situation requires a quick maneuver or an emergency procedure. The autopilot is then automatically reengaged when you maintain a stable course.Connection to networked devices: The Compact Reactor 40 autopilot can be activated directly from the display of the compatible Garmin chartplotter(1) or from 3 GHC control units. GHC communicates with the autopilot system via the NMEA 2000® network, allowing the easy sharing of autopilot direction data with other devices. In this way, the MARPA function and the map overlay are activated when the device is connected to a radar and Garmin chartplotter. An optional handheld wireless remote control is also available.
