The new bilge pumps operate using an internal level sensor that activates when the water reaches 5 cm of height and turns them off when the water has been removed (Auto Sense Intelligence). If the level sensor becomes dirty with debris or contaminated water, the unique backup function prevents the pump from continuing to operate, protecting the battery while maintaining automatic operation. The pumps are equipped with a check valve to prevent the backflow of water that, if stagnant, would cause unpleasant odors
