RIGID BOOM SUPPORT

It supports the boom in all situations preventing accidents in case of bad adjustment of the topping lift, very light, with little exposure to the wind and high reactivity without jolts or adjustments. It adapts to all types of mast or boom, whatever their section. The kit is supplied complete for installation as a complement to the downhaul of the existing boom and is composed of:• No. 2 flexible fiberglass rods that have sufficient resistance to support the boom and the mainsail• Anodized aluminum hooks for fixing on the mast and on the boom• Stainless steel fixing accessories. The Support has no moving parts and does not require any maintenance. The careful finishing protects the sails from damage caused by rubbing. Very flexible, the support arches under the tension of the sheet or downhaul to tighten the mainsail to the maximum or, on the contrary, without tension of the anti-haul, it holds the boom above the horizontal and allows you to ease to curve the sail, with a stern wind, if necessary.
