Active Imaging is a new sonar technology that provides high resolution images without sacrificing any range. It combines a traditional medium/high CHIRP sonar element and structurescan frequencies in a single transducer making installation extremely simple. Sidescan works with separate sonar elements for transmitting and receiving allowing for a faster hit rate and consequently a better image quality.
