Ocean Signal’s EPIRB3 is a 406MHz global distress beacon with a manual release bracket. The EPIRB3 is packed with features in a modern, compact design, including AIS technology that provides local responders with accurate and reliable location information for a person in distress, speeding up rescue efforts. Additionally, Return Link Service (RLS) provides the EPIRB sender with confirmation that their distress message has been received. The Near Field Communication (NFC) function allows you to use a smartphone application to monitor the EPIRB battery and other functions to ensure its correct operation.
